Albuquerque’s iconic outdoor music venue is entering a new era. Beginning with the 2026 concert season, the city’s longtime amphitheater will officially debut under a new name: First Financial Credit Union Amphitheater, following a newly announced naming rights partnership with First Financial Credit Union.

Set against the striking backdrop of the Sandia Mountains, the amphitheater has long been a cornerstone of New Mexico’s live music scene. For decades, it has welcomed fans from across the state and beyond, hosting a wide range of performances—from legendary artists to today’s chart-toppers—under the open night sky. Past seasons have featured major touring acts such as Paul McCartney, Wiz Khalifa, and Lainey Wilson, cementing the venue’s reputation as a must-stop destination on national tour circuits.

The partnership marks a natural evolution in the relationship between the venue and First Financial Credit Union. In recent years, the credit union has already played a visible role at the amphitheater through its sponsorship of the VIP club. Now, with its name on the marquee, First Financial Credit Union is expanding that presence in ways designed to directly enhance the fan experience.

As part of the agreement, First Financial Credit Union members will receive exclusive perks, including Fast Lane entry and access to special events throughout the concert season. In addition, all concertgoers can look forward to interactive elements such as summer sweepstakes and an onsite photo experience created specifically for social sharing—adding a new layer of engagement to live music nights.

“This naming rights partnership allows us to show up for our community in a meaningful, highly visible way,” said Ron Moorehead, CEO of First Financial Credit Union. “As a member-owned financial cooperative, we want people to understand that how they manage their money can be local, personal, and purpose-driven—and this amphitheater helps us tell that story.”

For First Financial Credit Union, the partnership reflects a broader commitment to investing in the communities it serves. By aligning with a venue that plays a central role in New Mexico’s cultural and entertainment landscape, the credit union will connect with local audiences throughout an entire season of live events—meeting members and fans where music, community, and shared experiences intersect.

Live Nation, which operates the venue, sees the partnership as a meaningful collaboration that blends local values with large-scale entertainment.

“This amphitheater has played a central role in New Mexico’s live music story for decades, consistently drawing fans and artists to the region,” said Rob Scolaro, Senior Vice President and Head of Venue Sales at Live Nation. “Partnering with First Financial Credit Union brings a local institution into that story in a way that not only supports the fans but enhances their live music experience.”

The timing of the rebrand coincides with a strong start to the 2026 season. An already-announced lineup includes high-profile artists such as Peso Pluma, Luke Bryan, and Mötley Crüe, signaling another year of diverse genres and major touring productions at the venue.
